Tenerife South (TFS) is the airport you want for the villas: it sits on the motorway about fifteen minutes from Costa Adeje and Las Américas. Tenerife North (TFN) is over an hour away on the other side of the island, so check which one your flight lands at before you book anything else.
Taxis from the rank
The taxi rank is outside arrivals and there is almost always a queue of cars, not people. A saloon takes four passengers with luggage; larger taxis for up to seven or eight exist but are fewer, so a group of sixteen normally splits into three or four cars. Expect roughly €30 to €40 per car to Costa Adeje or Las Américas, depending on the exact street and the hour. Taxis take cards but ask before you get in. This is what most of our guests do, and it is what we do ourselves.
A booked minibus transfer
For a group of ten or more arriving on the same flight, a pre-booked minibus is calmer: one vehicle, one price, someone with your name at arrivals. We can arrange a minibus for your flight (from €120 one way for up to sixteen people with luggage): ask us, or add it from your booking page once you have reserved. It is booked for your flight time and waits if the flight is late.
Car hire
Worth it if you plan to drive up Teide, surf the west coast or explore the north; not needed for a week around Costa Adeje, where taxis are cheap and parking is the harder part. Our villas all have free street parking directly outside. If you hire, book at the airport for pick-up and drop-off in one place, and take the full insurance: the roads are steep and the hire desks are strict about scratches.
The bus
TITSA buses run from the airport along the coast and cost a few euros, but with luggage and a group they are the slow option. Fine for a couple on a budget, not for a villa group.
Arriving at the villa
Check-in is from 16:00. If you land in the morning, tell us before you leave the airport: you can drop your bags at the villa from about 12:00 and Alejandro, our manager, will meet you there with the keys once the villa is ready. There is no key box code to hunt for and no waiting in a car park.
