Siam Park, the water park beside Siam Mall in Costa Adeje, is the biggest single reason families book the south of Tenerife. If it is on your list, where you stay decides whether it is a stroll or a taxi, and whether the teenagers can go back for a second day on their own.

How close our villas are
- The Surf Villa is within walking distance of Siam Park. Seven bedrooms, sleeps seventeen, heated pool.
- Villa Black is about ten minutes on foot to Siam Mall, which sits next to the park. It is uphill on the way back, so most people walk down and take a two-minute taxi home. Four bedrooms, sleeps eight, heated pool.
- Surf Villa 2 is in the centre, next to Siam Park and Siam Mall, with the beaches about ten minutes' walk away. Five bedrooms, up to twelve people, pool and jacuzzi.
- Surf Villa 3 is on the ridge between Las Américas and Costa Adeje, a five to ten minute taxi ride to the park gates. Taxis in the south are cheap and easy; a car is not needed for park days.
Doing the park properly
- Book online the day before. The gate queue in high season can be long; a pre-booked ticket goes straight in.
- Go early or go late. The first hour and the last two are the quiet ones. Lunchtime is when every coach tour is in the lazy river.
- The Tower of Power is the one everyone talks about. Twenty-eight metres, nearly vertical, through a shark tank. Do it first while your nerve holds.
- Fast pass or not? For a group of teenagers on a busy day, yes. For a family with small children who will mostly be in the Lost City, no.
- Bring your own towels. Villa towels are for the villa; the park rents them, but you will lose one.
Around the park
Siam Mall handles the essentials: a supermarket for the villa shop, chemists, restaurants that are fine rather than memorable. For dinner, La Caleta's fish restaurants are a ten-minute taxi ride and worth it. The beaches at Playa del Duque and Fañabé are a short taxi the other way.

All four villas are run by the family that owns them and can be booked direct, with no platform fee, on the live calendar. Prices and minimum stays change by date; the calendar shows the real figure.
